We Held a Topic Selection Meeting on Feishu, Entering Modern Office Mode — The Editorial Department Calls It 'Really Nice'}
A Feishu event in Shanghai showcased new features like knowledge Q&A, AI meetings, and multi-dimensional tables, transforming office work into a modern, efficient experience.

Yesterday, Feishu held the 2025 Feishu Future Unlimited Conference in Shanghai, and we attended the scene. The first impression was that the venue was packed with people.

In the exhibition hall, many people were gathered around two small football robots, taking photos and videos. The robots took shaky little steps, dribbled, shot, and even scored!

Back to the main topic. During the conference, Feishu announced and upgraded several new features, including the previously tested Knowledge Q&A, AI meetings, Feishu Aily, Feishu Miaoda, and the highly praised multi-dimensional tables.
Next, let’s review these “trump cards” in Feishu’s arsenal.
Tested Feishu Knowledge Q&A — Search Thousands of Documents Instantly
At the start of the conference, CEO Xie Xin addressed a pain point. With rapid AI development, the market is flooded with “show-off” and “real” products. In response, Feishu launched the industry’s first AI application maturity model.

They classify AI applications into four levels, with M3 and M4 representing “mature applications suitable for large-scale deployment” and “fully mature, applicable in any suitable scenario,” respectively.

Feishu’s Knowledge Q&A has already reached the M3 standard. Xie Xin shared a real example: a large state-owned enterprise with 80,000 employees created 9.4 million documents in a year. Manually searching for specific information in such a vast amount of data would take ages.
Now, Feishu’s Knowledge Q&A can directly retrieve and synthesize information from the massive personal knowledge base via chat input.
For example, asking: “What recent news about Meta have we focused on?”

The system performs an in-depth search, retrieving 2,417 knowledge points, sorted by reference creation time in reverse order, highlighting key information such as talent acquisition, internal issues, and team composition.
It also tags sources after each piece of information and includes images, making the answers comprehensive and visually engaging.

Additional features include “Internet Search” and “Upload Files.” For instance, enabling “Internet Search” allows the AI to check online news about Musk’s talent acquisition strategies, combining internal data with web info.

Knowledge Q&A also emphasizes privacy, with encrypted data accessible only to the user.
Feishu Conference Voiceprint Recognition — Say Goodbye to “Who’s Speaking?”
The other AI product — Feishu Conference — now meets M4 standards. It can generate real-time summaries, send meeting notes, and accurately identify speakers using voiceprint recognition.
Today afternoon, the ByteDance editorial team held an online topic selection meeting on Feishu. Previously, meetings were chaotic, with everyone talking at once, and no clear records or recordings. Now, Feishu Conference can identify speakers and display real-time subtitles and summaries.
After the meeting, it automatically generates a detailed summary, extracts action items, assigns responsibilities, and provides relevant links for review.
We checked the results, and the summaries were accurate, with no missed points or misassigned tasks.

Honestly, our previous meetings were “primitive”: colleagues gathered in a conference room, calling remote colleagues via voice, with no text records or recordings. Using Feishu Conference now makes us feel like we’ve entered the modern age.

Feishu will soon launch Meeting Highlights, a feature that generates personalized review reports based on recent summaries, highlighting key discussion points, conclusions, daily overviews, and weekly to-do lists, aiding quick review and planning.
On a side note, our editorial team’s most-used AI tool is Feishu Miaojì, especially for video colleagues. They often produce interview videos with foreign researchers, which can last over half an hour. Transcribing and translating these videos is a huge task.
With Feishu Miaojì, upload the video, and it quickly provides detailed transcripts and summaries, with an option to translate into source language with a single click.

How Many Variations Can a Table Play?
As Feishu’s flagship product, Multi-dimensional Tables have also received major upgrades.
First, in performance, its capacity increased to 10 million rows, making it the world’s first to support such a scale with millisecond-level calculation speed, even with complex formulas and millions of rows.

Next, in application building, a new “Application Mode” was launched, allowing users to drag and drop to quickly build sales, HR, e-commerce, and other business systems without coding or external tools. It also added pivot tables supporting analysis of over 100 million rows, with slicers and “Top N” filters for real-time data exploration and visualization.

Additionally, a full suite of AI tools was introduced:
- AI Field Shortcuts: Embed powerful AI capabilities into each cell, allowing users to invoke various AI functions as easily as editing formulas.
- AI Node Shortcuts: Integrate AI capabilities into workflow nodes, such as triggering DeepSeek or Doubao nodes via voice descriptions to automatically extract and input key information into Feishu’s multi-dimensional tables.
- New “AI Agent” Nodes: Preconfigure large models, memory, and tools to perform complex tasks like building intelligent customer service or research assistants capable of deep conversations and autonomous analysis.
- AI Sidebar: Supports knowledge Q&A, data retrieval, and analysis, currently in preview.

It is reported that the monthly active users of Multi-dimensional Tables are nearly 10 million, with plans to expand to DingTalk and Enterprise WeChat, breaking ecosystem barriers (Enterprise WeChat integration is complete, DingTalk is in progress).
This conference also launched the Feishu Development Suite. The “Feishu Miaoda” enterprise AI system builder enables rapid AI coding for product development, and Feishu aPaaS has undergone multiple AI upgrades to support AI+PaaS mode for business system development. The Feishu enterprise agent development platform, Feishu Aily, has been deployed in multiple companies.
