As 2025 progresses, AI continues to develop rapidly. From the emergence of DeepSeek-r1 to ongoing upgrades of models like Gemini and Claude, the race for AI intelligence is accelerating.
Companies are not only pushing the boundaries in model size and capability but also competing in reasoning depth, data construction, and multimodal interaction. Industry boundaries are constantly being reshaped—yesterday’s discussions on context length now evolve into intelligent agent architectures; new paradigms like Energy-Based Transformers (EBT) are emerging.
In a year of frequent major releases, keeping pace with AI developments is crucial—missing the wave means missing the next AI sprint. As a result, many AI practitioners actively attend conferences, browse arXiv, and explore GitHub to stay ahead of the latest trends.
The ACL conference, one of the most influential NLP events, received over 8,000 submissions this year—an all-time high. ACL 2025 will be held from July 27 to August 1 in Vienna, Austria.

Organized by Machine Heart, Shanghai AI Laboratory, Dongfang Jinghui, Huang Daxian Tea Think Tank, Ant Group AI Research, and the Global AI Academic Alliance, this meetup aims to facilitate front-line tech and talent exchanges, reconnect old friends, meet new ones, and discuss hot topics and research directions.
