Doubao Launches 'In-Depth Research' Feature to Solve Complex Tasks in Minutes
Doubao's new 'In-Depth Research' feature, now in testing, enables users to quickly handle complex tasks by generating structured reports within minutes, supporting visualized results and podcasts.
Recently, Doubao's 'In-Depth Research' feature has officially entered testing on the Doubao App, web version, and desktop version, available for free to users.
Leveraging model-based search, reasoning, and Agent capabilities, 'In-Depth Research' helps users process high-difficulty, complex tasks more quickly, comprehensively, and in a structured manner. It is especially useful for long travel plans, complex purchasing decisions, policy analysis, and tracking technological trends—tasks that typically require extensive data collection and prolonged research. With this feature, initial solutions can be generated in just a few minutes.
Additionally, Doubao supports presenting research results in two formats: visualized web pages and report documents.
After updating to the latest version, users can open the app or desktop version, select 'In-Depth Research', input detailed instructions or a prompt, and wait a few minutes to generate a report. Once generated, users can also open the report content, tap the 'Listen' button in the top right corner, and convert it into a podcast for listening anytime.
